As many of you know I was able to increse earnings with adsense by going back and tweaking current sites that are already making money. I did it because I knew there were terms that I was getting traffic for that I just didn’t rank the best for in Google. What I did was find keywords that people were already finding me for and built more links with the anchor of those words.

This is a great way to make more with current sites by just improving them. Hopefully the video makes sense and helps you all to make even a little more whether its a dollar or 10 dollars extra each day.

Good explanation Justin. Sometimes it’s a lot easier to understand these things with a well done video rather than just having it written out.

Great post Justin! A++. I definitely like video posts, especially when you are trying to show something like this. Great job at keep the video short and striaght to the point. Can’t wait to try this on some of my sites (once they get old enough). Hope to see more posts like these in the future.

    Take care!

Do you prefer AWStats to Google Analytics particularly or is just what u are used to using. Is AWStats provided by your host? I assume it needs to be installed server side

lissie Awstats is on every cpanel hosting account out there. I dont like using analytics because I am paranoid about it.

hmmm dreamhost doesn’t have CPanel I will check what they offer for stats. Why paranoid about analytics: ’cause its G? I like G’s webmaster tools too but that’s obviously the same issue

Won’t Google ban your Adsense account for having a site like Pink Zaz? Or are you setting it up for something else?

Justin, great insight on how to improve your Adsense and Sales with AwStats. I really like the process of reinforcing the lower ranking keywords with additional article marketing and BMD runs!

Why are you paranoid about Analytics?

@Adam, why do you think a site like Pink Zaz would violate Adsense TOS if Justin decides to eventually place Ads on it? (The only thing I can think of is that there isn’t a reference to a privacy policy.)

    Howard..

    Because it’s keyword stuffed.

My guess would be that Google would look at it as a MFA site and possibly ban the account. I don’t know that though, that’s just my guess and why I was asking. If Google has no problem with a site like that then let me know, so I can do it to my sites too.

Justin, these terms that you find through your awstats, you are linking them to the index or the post with the keywords in them?

Denise sorry, I am linking to the post that they were found for. So If I made a post on ducks then I would link back to that post if I found people were finding me for the term “ducks go quack quack”.

Thanks Justin! I thought I was doing it wrong. For once I was doing it right. :-) I thought I understood you and Vic saying to use these terms for the index. Over thinking sucks!

    Jutin,
great video. excellent tips. you slowly explain take time and very very helpful. I hope vic also does same way. small manageable chunks. He tries to cover so much in one video, newbies like me have hardtime sometimes. I hope he will split it into 2-3 videos when the material is large.

One question: when we find the keyphrase we want to get more links to, you just give that url, right.
