I really feel bad for this kid, as he paid way too much for this blog. He coughed up $10,000 dollars to purchase a blog that really is worthless from the make money online perspective. I mean seriously, how do you plan on making money on a make money online blog?
If it means selling worthless ebooks with affiliate links and telling people to buy stuff which will really never tell them anything they couldn’t have already found for free, or products that are just so far fetched from the truth, then yea you might be able to con people into buying crap.
But this guy looks honest, and looks to be a good guy. I hate to see people that are so clueless about making money online fork out this kind of money for something with so little of value. I think a lot of people feel as if he should get his money back and I agree!!
Now you tell me what you think. Lets see how many people feel this kid should get his money back, or eat this one up and feel the pain of making a horrible mistake. Vote Now!!

Yea Jason, on one hand I feel like people should do their research, but on the other hand, where do you get your sources? And if you are a newb on the internet then how do you even know where to begin?
I already stated how I feel in my comment below. But I think I should make myself clear. Scammers are evil and should be dealt with as such. However, a good place to begin when considering where to spend, as the new owner of onemansgoal stated, “8 to 10 months of commissions from working at Coldwell Banker” would be to investigate a lot more than he probably did. You can demonize the scammer all you want, and you should. But the new owner of onemansgoal has to own up to his part in flushing $10k down the toilet.
Vic used to sell new cars. He posted a nice long vid about how not to get screwed. But ask him if he would ever consider giving the money back to people he sold a car to, and he’ll probably say no. He was an adult dealing with adults.
Vinny, from a business standpoint I totally agree, but if Bryan was exaggerating any stats then by default the guy should get his money back. I highly doubt he can even come close to making $1k on this blog per month.
I was absolutely shocked when I saw the posted traffic stats. That’s just sick. He was taken advantage, alright.

Caveat emptor. Ten grand can seem like a lot of money. But maybe this will wake the guy up. Calling him a kid is BS. He’s a 24-year-old adult, selling real estate for a living. That is a profession that should be expected to require a little fiduciary responsibility. I realize “30 is the new 20″ is how more and more people operate. However, he’s been legally able to sign a contract for six years. Sometimes the only way to wake up and realize you’re an adult is to get fucked out of a lot of your hard earned money.
Hopefully, next time he’ll be a little more discerning in how he throws his money around. But no, no sympathy from me.
I see where you are coming from man, and we all are responsible for our own mistakes, but where do you draw the line? And with what measuring stick? If its based on learning a lesson thats one thing, but if its based on getting scammed thats another.
It’s two measuring sticks. One for the scammer and one for the scammed. No mercy for scammers. Expose them, do what you can to prevent them from further preying on people. But getting burned is sometimes the only way people will wake up. If I was the guy’s friend, and could have stopped him doing this, I would have. But, again if I was his friend, and he did it anyway, I wouldn’t have sympathy. Heck, I wouldn’t have sympathy for him dropping $10k on something he didn’t understand.
Think about all the people being affected by the subprime mortgage mess. Do I think it’s right that a lot of people will lose their homes, and a lot already have? No. But I don’t think they were innocent. That stove might have been hot, but you had to reach out and touch it to get burnt.
I’m not a huge fan of Bryan Clark’s. I don’t have anything against him, and I applaud him for being able to make the money that he’s making in less than a year with no previous experience. However, Vic is a total idiot, and anybody that follows him should be shot in the face, burned, put out, and then shot again.
I agree that MMO blogs are a bad buy, but what is the “scammer” tag being based on? Does anyone know for a fact that this kid got scammed (and if we are calling him a kid at 24, it should be mentioned that Bryan Clark is only 25), because it seems to me that One Man’s Goal went for just about what any other semi-popular MMO goes for. That’s not to say that any of them are worth it, but that’s the going rate nowadays. In fact, this blog might have actually gone for a little less than it was worth according to historical data of the last 5-10 MMO blog sales.
Do your homework and quit eating whatever these idiots like Vic are feeding you.
Screw Bryan Clark, and screw this Marc kid. But good luck to both of them at the same time. It’s a crazy world, and this isn’t the first or last time that controversy is going to be thrown around for something that means nothing to the rest of us.
I honestly thought bloggingzombie.com was better than this. Reporting rehashed news from a moron like Vic doesn’t buy you any brownie points here kid. Once upon a time (about 20 years ago) when I was 24, I would have used 10k on a hot rod. It’s good that Marc had the sense to invest it a bit more wisely. Whether this blog tanks or not, he’ll always have the easy out of selling it, after all, MMO blogs go for some big bucks, whether they are worth it or not.
It is this kind of mentality that gives making money online a bad name. Scamming people is not a business. Sure Bryan Clark May have made some money in his first year, but in the long run he will have no credibility.
I have lost thousands following people like this and now I am paying big time for it. People are struggling to make money to pay there bills and not lose their homes and feed their families. These are tough time for everyone and as human beings we need to give solid advice to these people on how to make money online. Not exploit them!
There were also a lot of snake oil salesmen during the depression and this is what some of these so called make money online gurus remind me of. The future of blogging will change and hopefully many of these scammers will be made to pay the piper for their lies.
I believe in karma and hopefully this kid will be able to make money online with this blog eventually to replace his money. It is not an impossible mission. It will just require a lot of work. He is online with his blog and maybe if enough people respond to his comments with enough correct information he will be able to learn the proper techniques. Unfortunately we are not the scammer police and we have to devote our time to make money ourselves.

I think its funny how you say to stop eating what Vic is feeding me. Because A)… You are Bryan Clark and wish to hide your identity, or B)…You are another poor mislead person that is clueless as well, and is scared to reveal yourself.
Bottom line dude… I am making money off of what I have come to know, and I am proud to say I didn’t have to download a stupid common knowledge Ebook to learn it. That site is dying, and will probably be completely shot down after this episode.
And no it won’t be an easy out for him to sell this blog. At least not now, unless a person with a brain the size of a corn nut bought it.

If the blog really is earing $1,150 per month, 9x monthly earnings is a very fair deal. If he was lying, he shouldn’t just get his money back, he should sue him.

The facts are that he used income from other shit he does that has nothing to do with OneMansGoal to inflate his income report now with the new owner that income will disappear the facts are what they are and again you made the point that many people do not get

Why is $10k so much money to you people? If the blog pays for itself in a reasonable amount of time, it’s a good investment. If not, there’s always a hot rod you can blow that much money on that *won’t* pay for itself.
Tell you what Luke - go give the Kid $10,000 and you try and earn it back. Your current site has no traffic and makes no money so maybe you will have better luck by spending ten grand on a site first - and then have no traffic and no way to earn it back.

I did feel sorry for the guy but after taking a look at his second video post I changed my mind. He’s decided to ignore all negative comments because he bought the site “not to make money, he just wants to be heard”.

Because of what Vic, Court and Griz share freely of their time to help others and not scam them of of 10k, my life has changed.
Go ahead and check out one of my websites with the link here, it’s a noob one that I get maybe 30-50 hits per day. All from search engine traffic and after only 2 months makes me $1-3 per day. Multiply by 100 and no more day job.
