How to make money on Ebay

Making money on Ebay is not as hard as one might think. There are a lot of people that buy and sell their items everyday. For those of you who are new to my site, I teach people how I make consistent money daily by using Ebay, and its not really hard at all. It just requires some determination and a little time devoted each day to building up your BANS sites.
Some of you may be wondering what BANS is and, how can I make money on ebay with it? Well let me explain the process and why I am so successful with it.
First of all I want say that there are many other sites out there which ask you to buy e-books and pay monthly fees to teach you how to make money. The great part about this site is that I make videos to actually teach you how I am using this software, including setting it up and building upon it so that I bring in profits each day. For those of you who are new to the make money online world, this is as real as it gets. There is no real special secret that you can buy from an e-book that will show you what I will show you on this site. So lets get down to how it works and why it works.
Make money on Ebay with BANS
I want to begin with the product itself. BANS, also known as build a niche store is a product which allows beginners to build a website or websites that will attract buyers to Ebay. The Build a niche store software is simple to setup and only requires a web hosting provider. Hostgator is going to be the best for what you need should you buy Build a Niche Store (BANS). After you have set up a site you make money by getting traffic to your site. When someone clicks a link which is automatically added by the software when you set it up and fill in your EPN number (which I will discuss in a minute), you get paid when they buy it. Simple as that. A nice way to make money on ebay if you ask me because you don’t even have to touch a product, which is much more time consuming and complicated.
How do I get traffic to make money off Ebay
The next thing you are probably wondering is how to get traffic to your site once it is built. To not get too complex in explaining details because the rest of my blog does that, basically once your site is built and shows products from other sellers on ebay, you will need to get your site showing up in Google, so that others can find what you have on your BANS site. This is done by building links to your sites. Once this is done, Google will come to your site and will read all the content on it. With all the various auction links on your site Google will index you for many terms. This means that people will find exact things that they are searching for in Google, and will many times find your site since the thing they are searching for may match an exact product you are selling.
Are you still with me?
The more links you build the better of a chance you have to sell more products on your BANS site because your ranking strengthens in Google. I have more help with this as well, and resources to help you do that faster and more efficiently.
Why don’t people go straight to Ebay you might ask? I will tell you why. it is because people naturally search for something in Google when they are in a buying mood, and because believe it or not, many people have never used Ebay before. Are you surprised? Would you be surprised if I told you that you can make money off Ebay when someone signs up for a new account when they purchase an item through your link on your BANS site. Thats right each new sign up is $25 dollars.
How much money can you make off ebay with BANS
I can tell you right now that you can make quite a bit. I’m sure you want to know how much I make. Well i am not going to be arrogant and tell you I make millions cause I don’t. But I can tell you that I earn enough to make a full time living out of it. Keep in mind that this is NOT a make money scheme. There is some time and a little effort involved in making it work, but one you are on a roll it is nice to see solid profits coming in daily from ebay.

Thanks for a very good rundown on making money on ebay.
It’s good to see all the steps laid out in a straightforward way and your willingness to offer help so freely.
Good luck with your site and hope you make money blogging.
Hi Justin,
This is a really good summary of what you need to do to get started with BANS and the eBay Partner Network. I can testify to your readers that I’ve been using this process for months and have found that BANS has greatly simplified my life in creating niche stores.
As an affiliate, eBay has always been one of my top performers on the CJ network. However, since switching over to EPN my signups have been lackluster yet my sales have been consistent.
I know that I’m not alone with this issue. Perhaps you could share some thoughts on the apparent sign up problem?

Hey Justin.
Do you have any advice for those of us who have been building BANS with .info domains?
Should we keep going with them, or bite the bullet and get some .com domains due to all the new issues google seems to have with them?
I think people should get approved for the eBay affiliate program before they buy BANS, just because I have heard of so many people who weren’t approved.
Hopefully the new PepperJam partnership will help with that but I applied days ago and still am pending with their eBay program, even though I had been with CJ and am approved with eBay directly.
Steven to be real honest i am going o be covering this soon. But I would recommend putting a blog or a scuttle site on the .info and indexing it first. Once again I will discuss this in the coming posts.
Hey Justin,
Just wondering one quick thing on BANS. Sorted the skeleton directory out - a fecking big time saver on my part, really not technical, done the BMD as Vic suggests - 3scut, 3legit runs - but just wondering am I right in thinking I am writing a few article posts (submitting), directory submitting and commenting to drive more links to the site? Or, am I doing too much and spending too much time on one site?
thank you Justin,
First time here came from Vic site: bloggerunleashed.
Your videos looks very crisp better than vic’s . hehe.
thanks for talking about BANS. I bought software now have to work on it. where to start?
If people need to apply for EBay Id suggest they first sign up with hubpages and then apply for EBay via hubpages: the success rates seems to be a lot higher: probably because EBay trusts HubPages
Thanks Roger, let me know if you need any help.
Hi Justin!
Wow, I found you through Vic’s site and have learned so much. I really enjoyed the CSS video. Thank goodness I got here kind of early. I’ve been able to catch up but I’m still making my way through the archives over at BU. Then there’s some catching up to do with Griz’s MMO blog and then Court. Whew!
So, I posted a couple questions on the forums on BU but am SO anxious to get going, if you have a little time I would really appreciate it. I set up my 15 BANS sites last Wed and Thurs but have been searching through the archives looking for these answers and have yet to find them.
*For Directory and Article Submitter, am I supposed to use different aliases for my different sites? So far, I’ve set up 15 BANS sites and none of them are remotely related. Will it look funny if I, Abby, have articles about 15 completely unrelated things? Or am I overthinking this?
*Which kind of brings me to my question. If I set up 15 aliases but the whois registration on the 15 domains are all me, will that look fishy?
*In Directory Submitter, I don’t want to use my real address. So if I make up aliases and fake addresses, once again I’m concerned with the whois on the domains.
OK, that’s all for now. I know you’re busy so if you or anyone can help me with this I really appreciate it.
Once again, thanks and I look forward to more of your videos.
Abby
Don’t worry about the different aliases you use, one is just fine. Most of the time they just want articles, and they don’t care how they get them from the same person. Second don’t worry too much about the whois matching up, people don’t have time to check that stuff with an article directory.
If you need any further help just fill out the form and we can chat on skype. Hope this all helps.
Thats a good idea. thanks!
Wow, thanks for the rundown!
Sure Susan, keep on a reading. Got more to come.
Skype, huh? Guess I should get that.
Hi Justin, a bit off topic question for you.
I’ve been reading you since Blendworx and I wonder what happened with your example project “Butt Implants”? I see you didn’t get any new links or posts. Can you tell is that project successful or not and similar details such as traffic and so on.
Thanks,
James
Hi Justin,
I’ve really been enjoying reading your posts, and have started tossing up some BANS sites of my own along with dabbling in “junk” adsense blogs.
My question relates to getting links for my BANS sites, specifically if I’m working 3-4 long tail keywords as my category titles. I’m having a little bit of trouble figuring out exactly what to link to where in order to really maximize my rankings. An example:
Say I’m working the keywords “discount blue sprockets”, “cheap green sprockets”, and “sprockets for pockets.” Each one of those has its own page as its own category on my BANS site. Also, my home page title at the top of the browser bar is “Discount Blue Sprockets | Cheap Green Sprockets | Sprockets for Pockets.” Would I want to create separate links to each of those separate pages, i.e. “Discount Blue Sprockets” anchor text that points only to my Discount Blue Sprockets page?
Or, should I simply create a link to my home page with a “Discount Blue Sprockets | Cheap Green Sprockets | Sprockets for Pockets” anchor text?
Or, maybe both ways? Thanks!
Sounds like a good return post. I think I will write something up on it tonight or tomorrow morning. I let that thing go once I got busy with other stuff. I will add a stat counter and so forth and see if we can’t just bump that up to the first page of Google now.
Good question, I will be happy to answer a little more clearer in a video, but for now lets think about it this way…
The sidebar on your homepage should have the exact keywords which link to your other pages. So that is fine in itself. No need to create links in your content of your index page of your BANS.
The next thing is that the pages that you have created with the exact title and also custom search will have results for that particular time you are promoting for example… Lets say we are working a page entitled Cheap green sprockets, we would want to get links to that page for the anchor of cheap green sprockets because it is much more relevant with the content on it than the index page for cheap green sprockets.
In conclusion its best to vary the links amongst all the pages. After a while you may find keywords that people are finding you more for that you didn’t realize. From that point you could start using those keywords as anchors as well so you can maintain that position and move up even higher.
Sounds good to me. I do the same then move on to a new site.
Cheers Justin, just wanted to make sure I was on the right track.
you make it sound pretty easy -how much money are you making with this method?
Hey Justin, quick question about BANS. Should we be putting up any legal mumbo jumbo, like a privacy policy or anything like that?
no
Justin,
Great info as always.
I have 100 bans sites up and am running BMD for them and getting ready to do some keyword research to start adding content/pages to them.
They are all .info domains - am I wasting my time on the .info domains due to issues with Google or should I continue to put time and effort into them?
Thanks
Great article. You can make money from eBay very easily. Sell on their site or off their site. This is totally a personal thing. A niche store is only the begining.
I am growing concerned about eBay’s recent changes. Several forums have threads running in them about eBay affiliate accounts being canceled for no reason, just up and *poof* and then eBay won’t respond. This is on top of the noticeable drop in affiliate income since they switched over from Commission Junction.
Power sellers are peeved and looking for new places to sell due to eBay’s fee changes.
Amazon seems to be picking up a lot of the eBay business.
