Justin nice free theme for Bans. Build a Niche Store templates are so boring. This is a really nice looking theme that I definitely can use and the best part it is a Free Bans Theme.

    Thanks Justin,

I’m new at creating websites. My only experience is with BANS. I just installed my 2nd store without any problem, but I don’t know much about CSS. I downloaded your template. What is the installation process for a site I already have up and running?

    Thanks

    Rick

    Hi Justin,
I don’t have a site. But reading a bit here and at vic, court and grizz.

just upload the whole folder using FTP to the themes directory of BANS. Then select in in the admin area of BANS and thats it.

    Justin,

I used filezilla for uploading files. The upload to themes in the directory was successful but, the template is not showing up in my admin. Still only seeing the BANS templates. Is there a setting I need to change prior to the upload?

    Thanks

    Rick

    Hi Justin,
Thanks. This is beautiful. I have a Hostgator reseller account with bans set up in the skeleton directory. I added this to the folder, but it didn’t seem to add it across my sites. Is there a way to do that, or do we have to upload it manually?

Exnay - actually it is there. I didn’t see it because the thumbnail for the admin area is the same as all the ones that come with the defualt. But it is there. Sorry.

I’m a loser. No - it isn’t there across all my sites. I should never write before I’ve had coffee… back to original question - do you know how to update the skeleton so that it is there?

    humble thanks.

Kinsey, it really should add all the files when you create a new site. I am not too sure exactly what you mean other than this. Can you be more specific?

Sorry Justin for long wait. What I mean is I have a hostgator reseller acct. where I had uploaded Bans to the skeleton directory cpanel3_skel. This was a while ago.

I uploaded this new theme to the theme folder in teh Skeleton directory with Filezilla. I see it in my main account. But I do not see Abstractwings theme in the themes folder for all my other accounts under this reseller.

Shouldn’t it have updated across the board? What am I doing wrong.

I’m going to go read your latest article now while I reflect on this skeleton dilemma - looks good.

It would seem it should show up when you create a new site. Thats odd that it is not. I am not really sure what is happening. Try renaming the theme to a name of a theme that already exists in and overwrite another theme. I am not sure if this might help. Other than that i am not sure why it is having trouble.
