Adsense is one of the best ways to make money online. I prefer adsense over most all other ways to monetize a site. The thing that I have found however is that sometimes adsense is just not the best way to monetize a site. If you are working a niche that has only 5 to 10 cent clicks, you will find that it is going to take a lot of clicks to make any decent money from it.

So what is the next step to find a way to replace the adsense on a site? First of all you will need to look at the niche you are working and see if there are any affiliates that have anything related. Some of the good ones include Commission Junction as well as Clickbank. I have found that Commission Junction has the most of all affiliates. So now the question arises whether you will make money or not off of the offer. How can you decide that?

Generally when I run ads I find that the less a user has to do to complete an offer the better it will convert. I also prefer running ads that are leads rather than sales. This means that the user will not have to purchase anything, they will only have to fill out their information. These convert a lot better, and many times they can make you more money than adsense if you play your cards right.

It all comes down to testing. You can never know 100% how well something will convert. So the only way is to test things. I hope it works for you as it has for me.
